HERB AND PENNY, omfg such presh names. Coop would probably be quite fond of Alfie, he's just so fresh-faced~~~

I love this idea, Coop has been open about being bisexual for a long time and he was the same way, popular jock but not an asshole, so I think they probably would have connected really well. Maybe they went out on a few dates, made out and fooled around a bit, whatever you want! Coop wouldn't have let the fact that Owen decided he's into women deter him from keeping the friendship, he probably came to see Owen while he was in that coma and left flowers for him and what not. He'd definitely tease Owen about it once in awhile, though. REMEMBER HIGH SCHOOL, OWEN, REMEMBER? WE COULD HAVE HAD IT ALL, OWEN XDDD

Haha, Herb's full name is Herbert. I feel like Alfie gives his dogs Old People Names, but Penny was already named. Excellent, he will be one of his better customers I am sure.

Even better, they probably hung in the same/similar crowds then, so it makes complete sense that Owen would choose him as such and ask. I imagine Owen to be very thorough with experimenting and taking Coop to all the traditional date places and hand holding, and making out, and other things. But bless him that would be lovely. Owen will be all YOU DO HAVE IT ALL, SAVING ANIMAL'S LIVES LIKE A DAMN HERO. Back in the day it'd have been more, "You may have given her dog a check up, but I gave her an orgasm so there." Because he's jealous Coop did so well in his academic life~
